Mo and Topher Reynoso, owners of the new Acai Republic on 211 Broadway Street, are hosting a grand opening this Saturday, Nov. 18 starting at 9 a.m. The Reynoso’s invite the public to enjoy authentic and delicious acai straight from the acai motherland of Brazil. They’re located across from Main Beach and share a courtyard with Carmelita’s and Peony restaurants. 

The Laguna Beach Sister Cities Association's 16th Annual Fête de la Musique sparked joy among residents and visitors last Saturday, June 17, when more than 31 bands, dance and mime performances took over Laguna Beach for five hours. The international event, observed in more than 1,000 cities as part of World Music Day, was an unforgettable experience for music enthusiasts of all ages. 

Memorial Day observations are being held throughout O.C. this holiday weekend to honor those who lost their lives while serving in the armed forces.

In true Academy-award style, 200 community and cultural leaders came together to celebrate the 15th annual Art Star Awards on April 28. Held on the Festival of Arts grounds, this year's red-carpet reception and ceremony featured pop-up musical and dance performances and live art demonstrations, all complimented by champagne and h'oeuvres.

The Laguna JaZz Band will bring its 17-piece ensemble to the Festival of Arts grounds on April 28 at 5:30 p.m. for an unforgettable evening of Big Band, latin, rock and pop to dazzle award-winners and their fans at the 15th Annual Art Star Awards.

The Laguna Jazz Band plays its holiday blend of jazz and pop standards, Latin, funk, and salsa at two free concerts in December.
