The Colored Girls Museum, at 4613 Newhall St. in Germantown, explores Black girlhood through artwork and artifacts. The museum, which opened in 2015, offers guided tours of eight exhibition spaces. Founded by Vashti DuBois, it also serves as a gathering place, exhibition space, think tank and research facility.
