The central bank emphasized that citizens who transact with digital assets will bear responsibility for any risks they face from the high volatility of digital assets.
Businesses can spend a maximum of 6,000 shekels (or $1,760) in cash payments, while individuals can spend a maximum of 15,000 shekels (or $4,400), according to a news report.
The proposal is open to the public for feedback until August 12, 2022, per the notice on the SFC's website. A form is provided for the filing of comments.
