The 2nd airborne will be sending some 1,700 service members into poland. both units advertised this is what they are about. the 82nd airborne says it can be ready to go in 18 hours. that 18th airborne corps calling itself the contingency corps for america. these are troops that are deployed frequently on things like this. in fact, some of these elements were deployed to help with the evacuation in afghanistan. so they are ready to go at a moments notice. what is not normal is why they are going....
