Starting April this year, Google will start rolling out the update ‘integrated view’ UI to all Gmail users who have not opted-in for the new experience.

Gmail revamp new layout, Workspace- Gmail is getting a new look this month, the new integrated view will become standard by Q2 2022.

When enabled, the new navigation menu will allow users to easily switch between inbox, important conversations, and join meetings without having to switch between tabs or open a new window. It adds a new left sidebar with pill-shaped icons for Mail, Chat, Spaces, and Meet.

Google will roll out a redesigned version of Gmail to Workspace users starting on February 8, the company announced on Monday. The service’s ‘Integrated View’ will show tabs for Gmail, Chat, Spaces, and Meet allowing for quick switching along with notification bubbles.
