Much of the wreckage from the train derailment in Goderich is now gone. Crews spent the past week cleaning up the debris from the February 2nd derailment at the harbour. Mayor John Grace says OPP along with the Transportation Safety Board and Transport Canada are about to finish their investigation into the crash. He says business at the harbour is open once again.

A train derailment caused some havoc at Goderich harbour. The derailment saw a number of cars leave the track and caused a tractor trailer to rollover at the grain elevators yesterday afternoon (MON). Members of Huron County OPP along with Goderich Fire and Huron County Paramedics arrived at the scene just before 3:30. OPP say no one was injured but there is some significant damage as a result.
