The US Justice Department is expected to detail how Google paid billions of dollars annually to device makers like Apple Inc., wireless companies like AT&T and browser makers like Mozilla to keep Googles search engine atop the leader board.

US search engine DuckDuckGo, Germany's Ecosia and French peers Qwant and Lilo said lawmakers should use tech rules drafted by EU antitrust chief Margrethe Vestager to ensure competition.
