CHICAGO, Sept. 12 (Xinhua) -- Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) agricultural futures closed mixed on Tuesday, with corn and soybean falling and wheat rising.

Now that the report is put of the way, the market will go back to trading the war in Ukraine and poor growing crop growing conditions in Argentina, Australia, and the U.S. southern Plains. The market will also be watching closely the development in Brazil as heavy rains in Parana are starting to cause planting delays and lower the quality of wheat.

Commodity markets ended the week 'on a bang,' Don Wick said on the Agweek Market Wrap. Randy Martinson of Martinson Ag Risk Management said a combination of factors came into play, including Russian President Vladimir Putin indicating he would not support extending the deal to allow exports out of Ukraine, a sharply lower U.S. dollar, and the expectation that the USDA's export reporting system will be back up next week and will show strong smaller sales.

The October World Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates increased yields for both soybeans and corn but reduced domestic and world supplies of wheat.

This week’s market activity was a general build-up to Thursday, which was not only the end of the month, but the end of the third quarter and the day USDA released some very important reports that were expected to move the market.
