The Greek police with the help of Israel's intelligence agency, Mossad, have foiled a terror plot hatched by Iran against the Jewish community living in Athens. Two Pakistani nationals were arrested by the Greek police in the foiled terror plot. They were planning to target a synagogue in Athens.

Greek authorities said earlier that two men described as being of Pakistani origin, who were not named, had been arrested for allegedly planning an attack on a Jewish restaurant. The attack was considered to be imminent and to be intended to cause extensive loss of life
