This community’s next sizable housing development — featuring the eventual construction of more than 110 units — will soon be underway now that the Greenville City Council has given its stamp of approval. The City Council on Tuesday voted unanimously to approve the Forest View Planned Unit Development (PUD) Site Plan submitted by Green Development Ventures LLC of Portage.

MICHIGAN CITY — The proposed 114-lot Woodland Ridge subdivision is cruising toward approval by enthusiastic city officials.

The next sizable housing development in Greenville is nearing its final steps of approval, pending a final decision from the City Council. The Greenville Planning Commission on April 27 voted unanimously to recommend approval of the Forest View Planned Unit Development Site Plan submitted by Green Development Ventures LLC.

Residential developers are eyeing land in Hartland Township for single-family homes, including some that would be for rent, and a commercial area.

The homes will also not be available for those seeking to use Section Eight vouchers.
