The 12 finalists hail from diverse sections of the industry and country. One will be named Equipment Worlds 2024 Contractor of the Year in March.

Aaron Feller was appointed to the position after Mayor Richard Homrighausen fired former Service Director Dave Douglas in December.

They were terminated shortly before Christmas. The mayor has provided no explanation for the firings.

Councilman Greg Bair, who has been spearheading the project, announced at Mondays council meeting that $42,000 has been collected so far.
