For more than 18 years, Toymakers Cafe in Falls Village was a gathering spot for motorcyclists. It served unique and hearty breakfasts and lunches, featuring the culinary creations of chef Greg Bidou.
The cafe closed in September, a victim of the COVID-19 pandemic, but its meals and its regulars are remembered in the newly released “Recipes for a Good Ride The Toymakers Cafe Cookery Book.”
Filled with more than 60 recipes and profiles of nearly two dozen regulars and their often classic motorcycles, “Recipes for a Good Ride” is jointly authored by Toymakers Cafe owners Ann and Greg Bidou and journalist Bud Wilkinson of Harwinton.
