Payroll costs to the state of Louisiana are rising, and portfolio increases in state retirement funds aren't meeting them.

(The Center Square) – The Public Retirement Systems’ Actuarial Committee approved valuations for four of the state’s public employee retirement systems on Thursday, offering insight into performance in 2023.

(The Center Square) — Retirement systems for Louisiana assessors and parochial employees remain strong despite declines in market returns in 2022, according to valuations presented this week.
