Candidate filings were relatively slow on the opening day of a three-day filing period at the Pittsburg County Election Board’s temporary offices at the Southeast Expo Center.
Candidate filings begin Monday, Dec. 4, for three McAlester City Council seats and for school board offices in all 14 public school districts in Pittsburg County.
