A University at Buffalo social work researcher has received a roughly $421,000 grant from the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA) for an innovative project that will explore how a persons emotional changes during the early stages of recovery from alcohol use disorder (AUD) can influence the potential success of their recovery.
