Laila Barnard-Wrigley is accused of causing two people's deaths in a collision in Bridlington

Laila Barnard-Wigley, pictured outside Hull Crown Court, is alleged to have made five or six attempts to overtake another car a few minutes earlier because she was running late.

A young woman is to face trial over the deaths of a young couple in a crash near the Yorkshire coast that left their baby son an orphan.

Laila Wigley appeared in court following a fatal car accident in which a couple died and a child survived.

The incident was confirmed at 10.20pm

A man and woman in their 30s were killed and a child was hospitalised after a crash on the A165.  Officers were called to a collision between a black Mercedes GLA and a red Peugeot 2008 at a junction of the Grindale Road at 3.30pm on Friday.
