TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) — In the Arizona Board of Regents meeting held on Wednesday, President Robbins announced that he accepted the resignation of Chief Financial Officer Lisa Rulney.

The Arizona Board of Regents told University of Arizona President Dr. Robert Robbins the school must take immediate and long-term action to address its financial situation.

The University of Arizona has its lowest number of days worth of cash on hand since 2013. "Weve got to turn this around."

(The Center Square) – The University of Arizona proposed a 3% increase in tuition for all incoming resident undergraduate students, effective in the 2023-24 academic year. Out-of-state incoming students will experience a 4% increase in tuition.

More than 99% of current students will see no increase because their tuition and fees previously were frozen under the Guaranteed Tuition Program.
