As Easter Sunday comes and goes this weekend, northern Colorado will host an adventure for every age and interest. The Best of the Week is here to give you a look at what's happening in the area from March 30 to April 5.

After giving a little taste in late October, winter came back in full force over the weekend, with Greeley hitting as low as 14 degrees below zero — and even colder temperatures projected to come. The warmest it has been since Friday is just seven degrees, according to the National Weather Service.

“At the core, it’s about freedom and liberation,” said Teresa Castro, a small business owner and UNC employee who participated in the Juneteenth event.

"As it's designed, it's meant to be communal and informal," Marcus Garvey Cultural Center Director janine weaver-douglas said. "It's about establishing a tradition. We're not looking to changes. We're trying to go deeper. We want to add to the opportunity for engagement."

The Rocky Mountain ADA Center is based in Colorado Springs and it provides information, guidance and training on the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) to meet the need of individuals and organizations in six states: Colorado, Utah, Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota and South Dakota.
