Gurudwara Attack News Today

Ranjeev Puri, an Indian-American legislator in United States Michigan, has introduced a bill seeking to make vandalisation or desecration of religious institutions such as temples, mosques, or Sikh Gurudwaras a hate crime. The bill seeks to expand the definition of hate crimes to include the vandalisation of places of worship Apart from this one, Michigan State Representative Puri has introduced several bills aimed at advancing social issues and inclusivity in the state. 

Two people were shot at a Gurudwara in Sacramento County, California. They are both in critical condition.

The three attackers were killed by the Taliban forces. Since the Taliban took power in August last year, Afghanistan has seen continuing attacks by rival Sunni Muslim militant group Islamic State.

Bhagwant Mann on Saturday strongly condemned the attack on a gurdwara in Kabul. 

Islamic State-Khorasan Province is considered to be the most violent of all the militant groups based in Afghanistan.

The terrorists died in a blast as they were attempting to drive a car loaded with explosives into the area.

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar denounced the "cowardly attack" on the gurudwara and said that India is closely monitoring developments in Kabul.
