MEDFORD, Ore. – The Rogue Valley saw an increase in employment in March. According to the Oregon Employment Department, Jackson County saw an increase of over 1,700 jobs in March. In Josephine County, there was an increase of nearly 300 jobs. Both counties saw the biggest increase in the leisure and hospitality industry. MEDFORD, Ore. —Oregon added over 20,000 jobs in the month of March. The Oregon Employment Department says employment rose by 20,100 jobs last month. This is Oregon’s largest monthly gain since July.
