Oklahoma kicked off October this past weekend with hot temperatures, but after a round of storms move through the state this week, we'll more seasonable temperatures for October.

A majority of Oklahoma could see a significant hail threat and damaging winds this afternoon and evening!

We still have tornado warnings in effect as well. as these storms continue to just race off to the east, we are going to continue to see severe weather across the deep south. portions of mississippi, alabama, on into georgia. the sun will be up in hours and we will see a real threat. 21 tornado reports, 26 wind reports and 27 hail reports. look at the hail sizes in mississippi. two inch hail in louisiana. 1.75. just enormous side hail. 66,000 lightning strikes. look at it racing off to the east....
