Philip Aivoji, who was kidnapped by some yet-to-identified gunmen along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway has regained his freedom.

The Lagos State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Philip Aivoji, who was kidnapped by gunmen on Thursday along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway has been released by his abductors.   The Lagos State Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Hakeem Amode, who made this known in a short statement issued around 1.15 am on Monday said that Aivoji was released after spending four days in the kidnappers’ den.  

The Chairman of the PDP in Lagos State was released four days after he was abducted on Thursday.
