HOT SPRINGS -- Haley Loewe was more concerned with helping her teammate get a better finish than setting another Class 6A state meet record.

BENTONVILLE -- Haley Loewe admitted she knew very little about Northwest Arkansas before her family made the move to the area from Wisconsin in the summer of 2022.

HOT SPRINGS - The Lake Hamilton Invitational provided a stiff test for El Dorado as the cross country season nears the postseason and the big races. “It was a good day as far as our times were good. The competition was top of the line,” said El Dorado coach John Koonce. “It was really good to be able to race against the best. That’s definitely the best field El Dorado has raced in since I’ve been the coach.”

It really wasnt much of a surprise when Lakesides Joseph Bariola and Bentonvilles Haley Loewe crossed the finish line first in their respective races at the Lake Hamilton Invitational Saturday morning on Oaklawns infield.
