The Missouri Senate Judiciary Committee briefly debated a House crime bill Monday that mirrors legislation vetoed by Gov. Mike Parson last year.

It’s the third attempt by state lawmakers to form a cyberstalking task force.

The bill, sponsored by Joplin-area Republican Rep. Lane Roberts, describes how a “Stop Cyberstalking and Harassment Task Force” would be formed, and how it would function.
