A vehicle crashed into a building Feb. 10 off Harbeson Road in Milton – the second crash there in a year.
“The same shed was hit about a year ago,” said Johnny Hopkins, fire chief for the Milton Fire Department. “The folks had just rebuilt it.”
The crash happened at 7:13 a.m. on Harbeson Road as a truck driven by a 69-year-old man traveled northbound near Shingle Point Road south of Chestnut Street.
Hopkins said the driver was taken to the hospital for treatment. The man was not injured during the crash, said Master Cpl. Heather Pepper of the Delaware State Police.

Both retail and classified advertising deadlines will be moved up for the next two weeks due to the Christmas and New Year’s holidays. The deadline for the Tuesday, Dec. 29 issue will be noon, Wednesday, Dec. 23. The deadline for the Friday, Jan. 1 issue will be noon, Monday, Dec. 28. The deadline for the Tuesday, Jan. 5 edition will be noon, Wednesday, Dec. 30. Cape Gazette offices will be closed Thursday and Friday, Dec. 24-25, and Dec. 31-Jan. 1.

In observance of Christmas and New Year’s, Henlopen Acres Town Hall, 104 Tidewaters, will be closed Friday, Dec. 25, and Friday, Jan. 1.
