A team with the power to issue tickets to people violating Denver’s urban camping ban hasn’t given any out in nearly two years since the program started.

It hasn’t.  It wasn’t.  However, the site itself has historic origins.  The site was the spot where the original Hell’s Blazes Tavern was built in 1690 and was reported to be the oldest operating tavern in the nation. Hell’s Blazes was ironically destroyed in a fire in 1971.
