Town’s U21s defeated their Hull City counterparts 4-0 at the MKM Stadium this afternoon.

Town’s U21s netted twice in the first half to secure a 2-0 victory over Bristol City at a soaking Playford Road at lunchtime, Tommy Taylor (pictured) netting the second after a Josh Campbell-Slowey own goal had given the Blues the lead.

Blues U21s left-back Harry Barbrook has joined National League South Braintree Town on loan.

Towns U21 side were beaten 2-1 by Birmingham City at Bent Lane on Tuesday afternoon. Romelle Donovan gave the visitors an early lead before Jacob Mazionis (pictured) equalised, only for Junior Dixon to secure what turned out to be the winner.

Towns U21s completed their pre-season programme with a competitive 1-1 draw at Stowmarket Town on Tuesday evening. Osman Foyo gave the young Blues a half-time lead but Stow skipper Jack Wilkinson scored a magnificent goal from only just inside Towns half to level the scores.
