A mystery steel monolith appeared out of nowhere on a hill in Hay-on-Wye, Wales, baffling locals. Four years after a spate of monoliths cropped up around the world, a "strange" metal column has appeared on a remote Welsh hill.

The 10-foot-tall block of steel, which is shaped like a giant Toblerone, was spotted by locals on Hay Bluff near the Powys town.
