The Connecticut Department of Social Services is looking to close Waterbury Gardens nursing home that's costing taxpayers $1 million dollars a month to run, according to a report from the state. 

The state of CT has asked a judge to close Waterbury Gardens, a nursing home that is costing the state nearly $1 million a month to operate.
