Illegal and they have to stop doing it because they kept doing it. the nra has continued to do it. if theres not something done about it i think these campaigns will continue to use these same techniques. the other available remedy is to give the money back essentially. you cant take back those ads but you can require the campaigns and the political committees to provide this money to the treasury. so potentially what were looking at is an outcome of an order pie the court for the nra to pay $35...

>> there is some evidence to that effect and i think matt rosendale was running for senate at the time. there was a recording made at a fund-raiser that rosendale held in which he was asked if theres going to be outside spending in his race. he said i had a conversation with chris cox, who was the head lobbyist at the nra. he told me the nra is coming in with a spending the next momt. lo and behold the next month the nra comes in with an whats called an independent expenditure. so he not only ad...

Bunch of illegal money on josh hawley during the campaign, supporting his campaign with illegal campaign spending through an elaborate scheme designed to evade campaign finance law. now, in complaint about the nra allegedly illegally funding josh hawley in that senate race, it was filed by a nonpartisan watchdog called the campaign legal center but also by the gun violence prevention group run by former congresswoman gabby giffords. she was shot in the head, nearly killed at a mass shooting at a...

Much appreciative of the fact that obama has gone out of his way not to put knives into him, at least rhetorically, although theres other things going on in terms of policy. >> wouldnt it be bad if he talked against a guy incredibly popular right at the moment? >> it might be. but given the history between the two, donald trump spent years questioning whether obama was born in the united states. theres no reason necessarily for obama to put that aside, but he has. i think thats one of the things...
