They have the fm s programming from a new route that experienced pilots would use this route two function. either loading or preparing a change to the flight plan. this could very easily be accomplished by not using it at all, but reaching up to the flight control panel. somebody else could have been doing that. they could just reach up and take control of the airplane by pushing the heading button and turning it. all these happening in 12 minutes.
