We did have to give up 70 spaces, which also included 12 staff who lost their jobs due to the sequestration cuts. once again, were finding that young children and families are often held hostage by budget cuts. i look at this as a lost opportunity. the kids who graduated last year are going on to kindergarten. this is 70 children who would have had the opportunity to go to a school readiness program to learn their numbers, to learn to read, to learn how to behave in a classroom. they also lost t...
