Pedestrian street in NDG blooming with green as borough turns asphalt into public space
Earlier in the season, when Place Guillaume-Couture — a roughly 70-metre street between Girouard and Earnscliffe avenues — was blocked off to cars, there were a few jokes in Facebook groups. Now the breeze rustles through dense, leafy greens.
