Jio Platforms to power "In-Car Voice Experience" for MG Motor India

MG Motor India has introduced a wide range of innovative connected car features through a collaboration with Jio Platforms.

MG Comet EV customers to also benefit from Jio’s other innovative assets which will integrate the Voice Assistant system with music apps, payment apps, connectivity platforms, and other compatible hardware

MG Motor India has teamed up with Mukesh Ambanis Jio Platforms to provide voice solutions through Jios Hinglish voice assistant system for its Comet EV model. The embedded system is capable of understanding a range of Indian accents and dialects. The voice assistant will provide additional services including news, weather, horoscopes, cricket and music, as well as enabling voice control of certain in-vehicle features such as air conditioning and score updates.

Jio and MG Motor have partnered in India to bring a localised in-car voice experience to MG cars in India, starting with the MG Comet.

As part of this association, MG Motor India will offer seamless integration of Hinglish Voice Assistant-enabled experiences powered by Jio’s Digital Assets in its newly-launched Comet EV— The Smart Electric Vehicle, the company said.

MG Motor India has announced its partnership with Jio Platforms to offer a broad range of connected car features in its cars.As part of the deal, MG will offer Hinglish Voice Assistant-enabled features powered by Jio's Digital Assets in the Comet EV.
