A new Superfund Research Center (SRC) at Yale will conduct extensive analysis of emerging water contaminants that have been linked to liver cancer.

Poor access to safe drinking water is a major issue for a third of the worlds population, especially for those living in rural areas. Because of the abundant sunlight in many of these regions, solar disinfection technology has great promise. It’s unclear, though, which form of solar disinfection would work best.
