A small group of women and men gathered together reminisce and celebrate what once was Hershee Bar, the last remaining lesbian bar in Hampton Roads, before it gets demolished.

(RNS) — 'I experienced that genuine, authentic love in gay bars more than I’d ever experienced it growing up in the four walls of the church,' said musician Trey Pearson.

"There's just no way to describe how devastated I was and how lost we all were," said Annette Stone.
