With an 18-1 regular season and a Cascade Conference title under their belts, the 4th ranked Lewis-Clark State Men’s Basketball team took home four Cascade Conference awards and earned three of the five all-conference selections.
Damek Mitchell was voted the Cascade Conference Player of the Year, Hodges Bailey was tabbed the conference Defender of the Year, Oreon Courtney was named the Newcomer of the Year and Austin Johnson earned the second conference Coach of the Year title in his career.
Meanwhile, Lewiston native Trystan Bradley was also named to the All-Conference Team.
The Warriors will host an NAIA National Opening Round Tournament March 12th and 13th at the Activity Center. All LC post-season games for men and women will broadcast live on

The No. 24 Lewis-Clark State Women’s Basketball team walloped College of Idaho 97-66 to earn the first Cascade Conference Tournament Championship title in program history. Kiara Burlage and Abbie Johnson led the Warriors with 15 and 14 points, respectively, and were two of five LC players in double-digits. LC State now awaits the announcement of locations and brackets for the NAIA Opening Round. Opening Rounds will be played on March 12 and 13 before heading to Sioux City, Iowa.
Meanwhile the LC State men’s team also took their first Cascade Conference title after defeating College of Idaho 80-71 in their second match-up on Sunday. With their championship win, they also snap C-of-I’s three-year run as Cascade winners. The senior starters got it done for LC State, with Damek Mitchell leading the way with a season-high 30 points. Senior guard Hodges Bailey scored a team-high 18 points and Lewiston native Trystan Bradley posted 9 points and 9 rebounds in leading the 4th ranked Lewis-Clark State men’s basketball team to 62-40 win over Yellowstone Christian College Saturday at the Activity Center.

The Warriors, who beat the Centurions in all four meeting this season, improved to 12-1. Yellowstone Christian fell to 0-7.
The LC men travel to Seattle this week for a pair of exhibition games with NCAA Division II Seattle Pacific. Games are scheduled to tip-off at 6pm both Wednesday and Thursday. Tags: Lewis-Clark State Men s Basketball

Trystan Bradley
LC forced 20 turnovers and held the Buccaneers to just 34 percent shooting from the field.
Lewiston native Trystan Bradley led the way with 16 points and freshman guard Oreon Courtney added 12 points and senior guard Hodges Bailey chipped in with 11 as the Warriors improved to 10-1. Park fell to 0-5 on the year.
