Brevard sheriffs agents say Mims woman arrested after fatally wounding friend while showing handgun kept in home

In a Mims neighborhood west of Interstate 95 called Hog Valley, Diane Judd said she remembers the emergency response back on April 18 when the Brevard Sheriff's Office said Alice McClure accidentally shot her friend as the 36-year-old failed to handle a loaded gun safely.

An appellate court agreed with the womans appeal and the case was sent to the trial court for re-sentencing. But, in the end, no change was made.
