Holiday Hamper Program News Today

Thunder Bay's Regional Food Distribution Association is once again filling up 1,500 hampers as part of its Holiday Hamper Program for seniors, singles and couples. CBC's Marc Doucette went down to check it out while the Grade 7/8 class at Claude E. Garton public school helped fill the baskets.

  EDMONTON -- A crew of Santas helpers were out ensuring Edmontonians have a healthy meal this holiday season. Hamper elves gathered to distribute nearly 1,200 hampers to families in need outside the Edmonton Expo Centre. The Holiday Hamper Program now in its 17th year.
