Holiday Sharing Tree News Today

From trolley rides and carolers to the chance to meet Santa, Bells on Belgrade brought the holiday spirit to the heart of North Mankato Saturday.

Along with being filled with holiday cards, mailboxes for the next month will be stuffed with pleas from nonprofits far and wide for donations as the year winds down.

Community generosity keeps the Holiday Sharing Tree program going strong heading into its 38th campaign, said project manager Liz Thiesse at a kickoff event Friday.
