The University of Louisiana Monroe Honors Program attended the annual meeting of the National Society for Minorities in Honors Conference on October 25-27, in Fayetteville, AR hosted by the University of Arkansas. The theme of the conference was “Why Honors? The Value of an Honors Education for Students From Underrepresented Backgrounds.”

As part of the National Society for Minorities in Honors Conference, the Honors College will host a panel discussion focused on the mental health of students from underrepresented backgrounds from 5-6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 25, in Gearhart Hall Auditorium.
