The University of Louisiana Monroe Honors Program joined the annual meeting of the Southern Regional Honors Council on April 3-6, in Jacksonville, Fla. Dr. Joshua Stockley, Director of the ULM Honors Program, was accompanied by four students – Beau Benoit, a senior toxicology major; Caitlyn Cullen, a senior political science major; Taylor Brinson, a senior psychology major; and Isabella Coates, a junior psychology major.
The University of Louisiana Monroe Honors Program attended the annual meeting of the National Collegiate Honors Council in Chicago, IL from November 8-11. Dr. Joshua Stockley, Director of the ULM Honors Program, was joined by five students –Grace Gunder (Senior, Biology, Elizabeth), Shreya Adhikari (Junior, Nursing, Nepal), Kaitlyn Apperley (Junior, Pre-Pharmacy, Monroe), George Khawas (Sophomore, Computer Science, Nepal), Noah Stephan (Sophomore, Biology, Monroe).
The University of Louisiana Monroe Honors Program attended the annual meeting of the National Society for Minorities in Honors Conference on October 25-27, in Fayetteville, AR hosted by the University of Arkansas. The theme of the conference was “Why Honors? The Value of an Honors Education for Students From Underrepresented Backgrounds.”

The University of Louisiana Monroe Honors Program invites the public to a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the newly renovated Honors Lounge. The ceremony will be Monday, May 8 at 2:00 p.m. in the Honors Lounge, 105 Strauss Hall, 500 Bayou Drive in Monroe.
