Longmont police notes for Sunday, Nov. 26, 2023.

On Tuesday, police responded to an injury crash at Main Street and 11th Avenue. A 76-year-old woman was walking across the street when she was struck by a vehicle. The driver of the vehicle was later issued a ticket.

Delays can be expected Nov. 2 and 3 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The Colorado Department of Transportation is "strongly encouraging" cyclists to stay away from the Diagonal starting Wednesday as the department begins installing rumble strips, temporarily blocking the shoulders and closing lanes. 

Police investigated a three car, injury crash near Erie Parkway and Weld County Road 7. A man was cited for numerous traffic violations. 

$162 million project will add a commuter bikeway in the middle of the two directions of road, as well as add Bus Rapid Transit stops that will prioritize RTD buses at signals and cut down the transit time
