Elks Lodge 380 awarded seven scholarships to local students on April 3 during a ceremony that followed a dinner at the lodge honoring the students and their families.

Arkadelphia Human Development Center hosted the annual "Walk a Mile in My Shoes" event on Dec. 10 with clients and supporters walking a track that passed Christmas decorations and figures.

Elks Lodge 380 recently awarded scholarships to seven students, based on recommendations from their high school counselors, their applications to the Elks National Headquarters, and written presentations submitted to the Scholarship Committee at Lodge 380.

Elks Lodge 380 hosted a visit from the Elks national leader, the Grand Exalted Ruler Bruce Hidley and first lady Helen Hidley, from Feb. 23-25.
