According to the police, the accused Rahamat Ali Shaukat Ali Ansari, who resides in Janta society of Hyatt Compound in Dharavi, was having an extramarital affair with Ajamatun Allahuddin.

The police said the accused allegedly committed the crime after his friend, with whom he was having an extra-marital affair, told him that she would marry him only if his wife and son are not there in his life.
