The SciFi Lab at Cornell has made a breakthrough by creating a miniature wristband camera, BodyTrak, which could play a role in changing the way self-tracking devices such as smartwatches are built in the future.

Cornell researchers have developed a first-of-its-kind wristband that uses a tiny camera and neural network to track the entire body posture in 3D.

A first-of-its-kind wristband that records the full body position in 3D has been created by Cornell researchers using a tiny camera and a specially designed deep neural network.

Researchers at Cornell University say they have developed a first-of-its-kind wristband that tracks the entire body posture in 3D.
