Tata Motors plans to eventually split the platforms for its conventional engine and electric vehicles to create unique products and fully harness the potential of electric vehicles. The companys Global Head of Design, Martin Uhlarik, stated that electric vehicles developed on traditional platforms are hindered in terms of range and battery layout.
