After users reported melting and burning RTX 4090 12VHPWR adapters, Nvidia launched its own investigation into the matter. We've yet to have an update from them, but the main issue at hand here may have already been discovered thanks to a dissection of Nvidia's 12VHPWR adapter. Simply put, the 12VHPWR connector itself should be safe, but the adapter Nvidia is shipping with its new graphics cards can cause some big problems.

With news of the Nvidia RTX 40 and AMD RX 6000 series updates, we can't forget that Intel is putting the finishing touches on its ARC Alchemist GPU lineup. According to Igors Labs (via Toms Hardware), the series is expected to launch in May-June.

In January, NVIDIA unveiled its new flagship graphics card, the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti, which was scheduled to ship later this month but that doesn't seem to be the case. As you may know, Nvidia is rumored to have an RTX 3090 Ti graphics card on the horizon, as well as an updated RTX 3050 plus RTX 3070 Ti with more VRAM (16GB).
