By March, Remington Arms — a shell of its former self — will close doors and relocate to Georgia after 207 years in Ilion. Some 300 jobs will disappear from the region.

Renowned American shotgun maker Remington Arms is closing its facility in Ilion, New York, nearly 100 years after it first opened. 

After recent turmoil at Big Green, the new RemArms company announced it will shutter the historic Remington plant in Ilion, New York.
