IMD Update: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert for heavy rainfall in Uttarakhand, with the possibility of blocked roads and power disruptions.

Over the next three days, there is a dense fog warning for certain areas in Punjab, Haryana, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Mizoram, Manipur, and Tripura, as per the weather agency.

From Friday till the end of this week, there may be light to moderate rainfall in several locations along with sporadic thunderstorms and lightning over Kerala, Mahe, and Tamil Nadu.

Today, there is a good chance of isolated areas of light rain and snowfall across Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand. Up until Monday, there's a likelihood of light rain in East Uttar Pradesh and East Rajasthan.

The National Capital will no longer experience rain as of today, according to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) on Tuesday. The weather service had previously stated that Delhi is anticipated to remain in Northwest India until October 17.

The weather service also forecasted that during the next three days, there will most likely be a few isolated areas of severe rain in South Interior Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala.

Northeast India: Today and tomorrow, Assam and Meghalaya are likely to see light to moderate amounts of rain, thunder, and lightning, with isolated areas of heavy rain also likely.

Today and tomorrow, Jharkhand and north Odisha are likely to see light to moderately heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, and lightning, while Bihar, West Bengal, and Sikkim will likely get moderate to heavy rainfall till Thursday.

From today through Saturday, East India will likely have mild to moderately heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, and lightning, with isolated heavy rains extremely possible across the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. On Friday and Saturday, the weather is expected to be similar in Jharkhand and Odisha.

Bihar is predicted to have sporadic heavy rainfall through today. The IMD projected that rain, thunderstorms, and lightning would occasionally bring heavy rain to the Andaman and Nicobar Islands through Thursday.
